Mark Nault has been a Mason County Resident for fifty plus years! He has been married to his wife Donna for 38 years and counting, has two adult children, plus five awesome grandkids. Mark graduated in 1980 from Shelton High School and enlisted in the Army where he served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps as a Satellite Teletype Operator, which provided him with the opportunity to experience many cultures around the world.
He joined the Our Community Credit Union team in 2006 and has worn several hats over the years including Senior Network Engineer, Director of Staff Development, and currently the Director of Compliance. In this position he directs programs, policies, and practices to ensure that OCCU is in compliance with financial policy and reporting regulations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree at The Evergreen State College in organizational leadership. As a business leader, and a citizen of Shelton, he is committed to helping our businesses and community to grow in a sustainable fashion.
Mark has been working with the EDC for 4+ years! He says his favorite part about the EDC is, “The passion and sincere commitment the organization delivers every single day to provide tangible resources and deliverable results to our current businesses and future business opportunities.”
Back in the early 60’s he says his folks migrated here in covered wagons from North Dakota with a hopes of working at Boeing. Mark’s favorite parts about Mason County are the peace and quiet (most of the time), Oysterfest, his “circle of trust”, and the natural resources GOD has blessed us with. He also enjoys making wine and playing the digeridoo. Just not at the same time.
