Geoffrey "Jeff" Farrington, a seasoned skydiver with remarkable skills, has left his mark in the world of cinema with his daring stunts featured in movies like “Operation Dumbo Drop”, “Air Force One”, and “Tears of the Sun”. However, his greatest joy comes from witnessing the thrill and excitement of customers completing their first jumps with his team at Skydive Kapowsin. Farrington, along with his wife Jessie and their two grown children, Andy Farrington and Carrie Bell, co-own Skydive Kapowsin located in Shelton, Washington. This family of pilots and parachutists has been deeply involved in the sport since the early 1970s.

Jeff's journey into skydiving began when Jessie, his wife and instructor, introduced him to the sport in 1971. The couple saw a business opportunity as skydiving gained popularity, leading them to establish Kapowsin Air Sports in 1979. Over the years, the business evolved, and in 2006, Skydive Kapowsin moved to Shelton, leasing property from the Port of Shelton and expanding its fleet of planes. While attracting customers from around the world, Skydive Kapowsin remains a family affair, with the Farringtons actively involved in various roles.

Beyond his contributions to the skydiving business, Jeff Farrington's skills as a master parachute rigger and experienced jumper led him to work as actor Danny Glover's stunt double in Operation Dumbo Drop. His involvement in movies like Air Force One and Tears of the Sun showcases his dedication to representing military jumpers through thrilling stunts. Skydive Kapowsin continues to offer a range of programs, including tandems for beginners, solo jumps with instructor guidance, and customized packages for experienced jumpers. As a family-driven enterprise, Skydive Kapowsin captures the essence of fun and safety, making each jump a memorable experience for enthusiasts worldwide.
