Judy Scott has been the commissioner for the Port of Allyn since 2000. She stepped up to fill the position while she was hosting the North Mason Chamber of Commerce at her restaurant, The Belfair Café. She loves her community, so it was a no brainer to step up. She currently owns and operates MJ Scott Enterprise rentals. She has been a real estate broker for Reid Real Estate since 1996. 

The EDC has gone through many phases, and she has thoroughly enjoyed how the EDC has engaged and stepped up to challenges valiantly. 
She had served on the EDC board when Tim Sheldon and Jay Hupp were involved. She does not recall the year they were in, but EDC was an integral part of Mason / Shelton at that time. She says her favorite things about Mason County is the beauty and the versatility of the area and of course the people! Strong, independent yet generally kind and caring people! 

Judy was raised Belfair all her life. Her dad had a dance hall in the 50’s called The Belfair Barn. Big name country western singers from around the nation that would visit the Belfair Barn to play their music. A fun fact about Judy is she used to build houses in her 20’s full time. She did it all foundations, framing and roofing.
