Ryan Drake, Our Community Credit Union (OURCU) President & CEO joined the credit union leadership team in 2012 when he was hired as Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, Drake oversaw Accounting, Lending, Informational Technology (IT), and the Compliance Department and has immersed himself in all phases of the credit union’s operations.

 Drake worked for 5 years as a corporate accountant at a computer manufacturing company before starting his career with credit unions.  He has over 22 years’ experience in the credit union industry and is a 1991 Boise State graduate with a degree in Business Administration (Finance) BBA and a graduate of Western CUNA Management School. As of July 1,2023, Ryan Drake was appointed by the credit union Board of Directors as the new CEO, following the retirement of Bert Fisher.

 Drake has been an active member in the communities OURCU serves, he serves on the Governmental Affairs committee at GoWest Credit Union League, and has actively lobbied for credit unions on numerous occasions in Olympia and in Washington D.C.  As President & CEO of OURCU, Drake’s goals focus around supporting the credit union culture of “people helping people,” in and outside the institution and building upon the legacy of success that OURCU holds within the communities they serve, aiming towards a digital first approach for the future as our community grows.
