Commissioner Sharon Trask is a dedicated representative of Mason County, assuming the role of Chair on various essential boards and committees. Her commitment to public service is evident through her extensive involvement in key organizations such as the Board of County Commissioners, Mason County Law Library, and the Economic Development Council Board.

With a wealth of experience, Sharon holds the position of Chair on the Mason County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee and the Memorial Hall Committee. Her leadership extends to regional entities like the Lewis-Mason-Thurston Area Agency on Aging Council of Governments and the Pacific Mountain Workforce Development Council.

In addition to her official responsibilities, Sharon is actively engaged in volunteer activities, contributing to organizations such as the Turning Pointe Board of Directors, Lion's Club, and serving as a Chamber Member. Her past experiences, including roles as Civil Air Patrol Commander and Victim's Advocate, showcase a history of dedicated community service.

Professionally, Sharon's diverse background includes positions such as Legislative Assistant in the WA State House of Representatives, Legal Assistant/Paralegal in the WA State Attorney General's Office, and Court Facilitator in the Thurston County Clerk's Office. She is also a business owner with interests in South Sound Private Investigations, Xtreme Indoor Golf, and Reliable Clean Up.

Sharon is a proud alumna of San Juan Vo-Tech School, Northern Pioneer College, and the American Institute of Paralegal Studies. Personally, she, along with her husband Ted, cherishes their connection to Mason County, where they proudly call home. The couple has three children and six grandchildren.
